Ronald "Ron" Dale Johnson, 57, of La Porte, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at his home. 

   

Ron was born in La Porte, IN, on June 19, 1964 to Dale D. and Marsha (Senne) Gourley. 

 

Surviving are his daughter, Christin Johnson of South Bend; mother, Marsha Gourley of La Porte; sister, Kathy (Jeff) Searing of La Porte; aunt, Shirley Lamb of La Porte; uncles, Bruce Johnson of La Porte and Carl Senne of Simpsonville, South Carolina; nephew, Justin Wurtlin of La Porte; as well as numerous cousins.

 

He was preceded in death by his father.

 

Ron worked in construction as a carpenter.  He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, motorcycle riding, and the ocean.

 

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.

 

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, September 3, 2021 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.

 

A time of visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
