Ingrid Dawn Johanson-Voelker, 60, of Michigan City, passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at her home. 

   

Ingrid was born in Chicago, IL, on February 12, 1961 to Gustav R. and Hilda M. (Clark) Johanson. 

 

She was married to Robert W. Voelker, Jr. who preceded her in death on June 7, 2018.  Surviving are son, Robert (Christina) W. Voelker, III; 3 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Naureen (Charles) Bostelman of New Carlisle and Karen (Carl) Schultz of La Porte; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister, Ethelyn (Charles) Wesley.

 

Ingrid was an educational support worker at La Porte High School. 

 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Bob Vale officiating.

 

A time of visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Cremation will take place following the service.
