Ethel M. Harrison, 87, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Friday, August 27, 2021. 

 

Ethel was born August 11, 1934, in Southampton, Missouri to Frank and Viola Marie (Lair) Benz. 

 

On June 23, 1955, Ethel married Thomas Quiggle who preceded her in death on January 23, 1986. 

 

Ethel is survived by her daughter, Georgia Quiggle of La Porte, Indiana; and two sisters, Evelyn Gains of Olive Branch, Mississippi and Mary Lutman of Herculaneum, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas; sisters, Margaret Ann, Frances, and Ruth Smith; and brothers, Rudy Benz, Arthur Benz, Frank Benz, and John Benz.

 

Ethel retired from American Rubber after 34 years of service. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, Sacred Heart Church. Her hobbies included watching game shows, church, working in her yard, and spending time with her daughter.

 

Private burial services will be held.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.
