Roger Duane Sunn, 56, of Kingsford Heights, passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. 

   

Roger was born in Henderson, KY, on June 19, 1965, to Thomas Raymond Sunn and Geraldine "Gerrie" (Parrish) Allen. 

 

Surviving Roger are his son, Devon Cole Sunn of Kingsford Heights; mother, Gerrie Allen; siblings, Tommy Sunn of La Porte and Tracy (Mike) Sunn-Allen of La Porte; stepbrothers, Kelly Allen of La Porte and Shawn (Gina) Allen of Port Charlotte, FL; close friend, Paula Ramsey of La Porte; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Sunn.

 

Roger was a construction worker.  He enjoyed football, gardening, NASCAR, smoking, drinking beer, and bonfires. 

 

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.

 

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.

 

A time of visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
