Carrie Lynn (Dillard) Martin, 49, passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021.

 

Carrie was born on May 10, 1972 in La Porte, IN, to Larry and Paula (Koepke) Dillard.

 

Surviving Carrie are her children, Broc Jurkowski, Karlie Martin, and Ethan Martin, all of La Porte; parents, Larry (Paula) Dillard of La Porte; siblings, Kim (Patrick) Bessegato and Larry Dillard, both of La Porte; nephews, Aaron (Janelle) Hembree of Rolling Prairie and Blake Dillard of Union Mills; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

 

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Ramona Dillard, and 2 uncles, Gary and Billy Dillard.

 

Carrie was a Para Professional for several years at Kingsbury Elementary, where she enjoyed working with the students.  Most importantly, Carrie enjoyed spending time with her children and friends.

 

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.  A private family burial will occur at a later date.
