Cheryl Denise Meyers, 75, of Union Mills, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Fountainview Terrace, La Porte.

 

Cheryl was born on December 25, 1945 in La Porte, IN, to Gilbert and Marge (Rehlander) Bunton.

 

On December 4, 1965 in La Porte, IN she married George "Bill", who survives.  Also surviving are her children, Matthew (Karol) Meyers of Dripping Springs, TX and Melanie (Sam) Beer of Decatur, IN; 7 grandchildren, Kora, Kyler, Jax, and Jorie Meyers and Hannah, Becca, and Jordyn Beer; brother, Gil Bunton of Indianapolis; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Samuel Beer.

 

Cheryl was a sales representative for many years at Little House.  She enjoyed traveling and tending to her flower beds.  Cheryl also enjoyed hosting friends and playing cards.  Church was a big part of Cheryl's life.

 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Dan Lute officiating.  Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.

 

A time of visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, August 13, 2021 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center and from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home. 

 

Memorial donations may be made in honor of and to be shared with Cheryl's grandchildren in c/o Bill Meyers, 2900 Monroe Street, La Porte, IN 46350.
