Ritamarie Ann Clem, 88, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021.

Ritamarie was born May 27, 1933, in La Porte, Indiana to the late Stephen and Lorraine (Kuta) Piasecki.

 

Ritamarie married Allen R. Clem who preceded her in death on May 3, 2011.

Ritamarie was a retired teacher for the La Porte Community Schools.  She taught first and fifth grades at Stillwell and Indiana Trail schools.  She was a member of Holy Family Parish, St. Joseph Church.  She graduated in 1951, from La Porte High School and went on to receive her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Indiana University.

 

Ritamarie is survived by her sister, Rosalie (Robert) Weisser of South Bend, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews. Paul Mulligan of Yorkville,Ill., Vicki Mulligan of San Diego, Ca. Debbi Frederick of Loveland, Co. Stephaine Lewis of Zionsville, In. Greg Weisser of Niles, Mi. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Allen; and her sister, Patricia Mulligan.

 

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, August 16, 2021, at Pine Lake Cemetery.

 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to a Charity of the Donor’s Choice.
