Virginia "Ginny"  Beuker, 89, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her family.

 

Ginny was born on July 13, 1931 in Grand Rapids, MI, to Charles and Elizabeth (Vermaire) Harkes.

 

On May 23, 1953 in Grand Rapids, MI, she married Gordon Beuker, who preceded her in death.  Surviving Ginny are her daughters, Berri Beuker of Michigan City and Betsy (Daniel) Mills of Macon, GA; 2 granddaughters, Elizabeth (Evan) Schaefer of Mesa, AZ and Alexandra Langowski of Michigan City; 1 great-granddaughter, Isabelle Bruce; as well as many nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Beuker; parents, Charles and Elizabeth Harkes; and 8 siblings.

 

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.  A private family service will take place at a later date.
