Joyce Poston, 77, of LaPorte, Indiana, passed away Friday April 9, 2021 at Northwest Health-La Porte in La Porte, IN.

 

She was born August 1, 1943 in Thompson, Georgia, the daughter of Elmo Cooper and Lo (Haden) Cooper.

 

Joyce was an avid painter and loved to knit and do needlepoint. She also was one of those who were blessed with a green thumb and enjoyed gardening. 

 

She is survived by her son, Johnny (Danielle) Poston of South Bend, IN.

 

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents.

 

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN. Joyce has chosen cremation.
