Sandra S. “Sissy” McLouth, 55 of La Porte, Indiana passed away Monday, March 29, 2021, surrounded by her family.

 

Sissy was born on July 13, 1965, in La Porte to Jennie Hilliard of La Porte and the late Edsal Mewbourn. Sissy was a waitress at Dick’s Bar for 17 years. She had an outgoing fun-loving spirit and loved to ride her bike. She loved gardening, the sun and her grandsons were her everything. 

 

Sissy is survived by a daughter, Jessica (Scott) Eldred of La Porte; grandchildren, Scott, Edward, Braylon; her lifelong partner, Chad McCleery; sisters, Tammie (Rolan) Collins of La Porte, Shelly (Jerry Wingett) Mewbourn of La Porte; brothers, Jeff (Linda) Wiersema of New Era, Michigan, Dale (Jackie) Owens of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. A son, Joshua McLouth preceded her in death.

 

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 2021, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana. A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. following the visitation.
