Paul Stephen Nagy

Paul Stephen Nagy, 95, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021.

 

He was born on January 1, 1926, in West Allis, Wisconsin to the late Michael T. and Rachel (Pethe) Nagy.

 

Paul retired in 1984, after 41 years as a manufacturing accountant for Allis Chalmers. He served in the U.S. Navy, graduated from West Allis Central High School in Wisconsin, attended Northwestern University, and belonged to Beta Alpha Psi at Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

 

On July 6, 1946, in West Allis Wisconsin, Paul married Julia Beierle who preceded him in death on July 17, 2005. Surviving are his children, Claudia Rae (Ronald) Nelson of La Porte, Lisbeth Kay (Robert) Vitale of Hermosa Beach, California; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a late sister, Lillian Mae McGough of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

 

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at the funeral home. Pastor Dennis Meyer will officiate. Burial will follow at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove, Wisconsin. 

 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bethany Lutheran Church Foundation of La Porte, 102 G. Street, La Porte, Indiana 46350.
