William "Bill" Fletcher Brown

William "Bill" Fletcher Brown, 64, of La Porte, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2021.

 

Bill was born on August 11, 1956, in Valparaiso, IN, to Wallace and Marlene Brown.

 

On July 7, 1978, in Valparaiso, IN, he married Linda Blasko, who survives.  Also surviving are his son, Stephen (Beth) Brown of Mill Creek; siblings, George (Georgene) Brown of Scottsdale, AZ, Theresa (Bryan) Cannon of Kouts, and Stephanie (Stan) Diekmann of Millers Creek, NC; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

 

Bill was a project estimator for 47 years at Midwest Service Center.  He enjoyed cruises, camping, time outdoors, traveling, sight-seeing, and spending time with his wife, son, family, and friends.  Bill also loved his dog, Sissy Sue.

 

A time of visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the time of the service on Monday, February 15, 2021 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center. 

 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5 p.m. on Monday, February 15, 2021 at the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Meyer officiating.  Cremation to follow the service.

 

Due to the recent Governor's Order, anyone attending the visitation and/or service is required to wear a mask and practice social distancing of six feet.
