Jason Donald Jackman, 38, of Walkerton, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at his home, with family by his side.

 

Jason was born on February 17, 1982 in Valparaiso, IN, to Randy Joe Jackman and Lisa Donnette (Nelson) Wilke.  He was joyfully welcomed into the life of Kevin Wilke, who raised him as his son.

 

On May 10, 2014 at Friendship Baptist Church, Salem Heights, IN, he married Victoria "Vicky"  Lynn Wojcik, who survives.  Also surviving are his sons, Jayden and Brody Jackman; mother, Lisa Wilke; siblings, Kody  Wilke of La Porte, Shelby (Bradley Bennington) Wilke of Michigan City, and Chris Wilke; uncle, Terry Wilke of La Porte; aunt, Susan (Rocky) Smith of Chesterton; grandmother, Jolene Nelson of La Porte; as well as numerous friends and family members.

 

He was preceded by his son, Donny Jackman; father, Kevin Wilke; grandfathers, Donald Nelson and Charli Jackman; and grandmother, Estelle Jackman.

 

Jason enjoyed fishing and loved helping people.  Most importantly, Jason loved spending time with his family, especially his sons.

 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday February 9, 2021, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Jason Burrick officiating.  Burial will follow at Pinhook Cemetery.

 

A time of visitation will be held from 4 - 8 p.m. on Monday, February 8, 2021 and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. 

 

Due to the recent Governor's Order, anyone attending the visitation and/or service is required to wear a mask and practice social distancing of six feet.  Also, we are limited to 25 people in the building at any given time.  We kindly ask for your patience as we oversee these mandated guidelines.
