Timothy Albert Pieszchala

Timothy Albert Pieszchala, 63, of Spring Branch, Texas (formerly of La Porte, IN) passed away on January 19, 2021, with his wife by his side, after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

Tim was born on July 16, 1957 to Chester and Theresa (Cuff) Pieszchala in La Porte, IN.  He had a strong, quiet faith in the Lord and studied seminary, but ultimately went on to graduate from Indiana University.  He was a hardworking and dedicated businessman who spent most of his working days in the oil and gas industry.  He never cared for the cold Indiana winters and pursued his dream of moving to Texas to enjoy the warm and abundant Texas sunshine. Tim took up jeeping and loved the adventures that came as he explored new areas with his jeep.

He and his former high school sweetheart, Sharon Phillips, reconnected later in life and went on to marry on August 6, 2011 on the breathtaking beach of Hana, Hawaii. They enjoyed traveling, trying new restaurants, and the simple things in life like being together at home and sitting out by their pool.  Although Tim never had children of his own, he enthusiastically took on the role of Grandpa Tim to Haley, Chase and Brynn Leonard, and Evelyn, Stella, Hazel, and Samuel Yohn. He loved the kids dearly and enjoyed being in the pool and spending time with them.

Tim is survived by his wife, Sharon Pieszchala; stepsons, Kyle (Katie) Leonard and Brandon (Katy) Yohn; sister, Lynn (Al) Palm; and nephews, Ryan Pieszchala, and Mike and Sam Palm.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Terry.
