Lois L. Wildhart, 95, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 at 6:15 am in Life Care Center of Michigan City.

Private family services will be conducted. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.

She was born February 24, 1925 in Michigan City, IN to the late Otto and Emilia (Batzel) Hoffman . On December 27, 1941 in South Bend, IN she married Joseph Wildhart who preceded her on March 8, 1999.

Surviving are three sons, Dennis (Sheila) Wildhart of LaPorte, IN, Randal (Bozena) Wildhart of LaPorte, IN and James (Sharon) Wildhart of Lakeland, FL; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-granchildren; and her sister, Barb Johnson of Carson City, CO.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Michael Wildhart; sister, Florence Hanzinski; and three brothers, John, Chuck and Harvey Hoffman.

Lois was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, the Red Hat Society, Michigan City Senior Center, and also a 50 year member of the Michigan City Y.M.C.A where she was an avid swimmer. She enjoyed painting, fishing, reading, and doing cross word puzzles.
