Douglas "Doug" Howard Marvel, 73, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021 at Majestic Care of Jefferson Point in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

 

Douglas was born on July 4, 1947 in La Porte, IN, to Howard and Betty Marvel.

 

Surviving are his daughter, Wendy Marvel of La Porte, and grandson, Seth Marvel.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Brian Marvel; brother, Ralph Marvel; and his dog, Buddy.

 

Doug was a foreman at Bethlehem Steel.   He was an outdoorsman.  Doug loved to hunt and scuba dive. 

 

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
