Mrs. Patricia K. (Baity) McGinnis, 82, of La Porte, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne

 

Patricia was born on March 14, 1938 in Mellott, IN, to Wilbur and Helen (Tracy) Baity.

 

On July 1, 1960, in La Porte, IN, she married Robert C. who preceded her in death on July 31, 2020.  Surviving are one daughter, Katherine (Glen) Todd and one son, Michael (Stacy) McGinnis, both of La Porte; 12 grandchildren, Elizabeth Bline of Goshen, Jeffrey (Amanda) Bline of Goshen, Stephanie Bline of Elkhart, Andrew Todd of La Porte, Angela (Dane) Lowry of La Porte, Aimee Todd of La Porte, Allison (Paul) Sanford of Kalamazoo, MI, Austin Todd of La Porte, Pierceton (Parker) McGinnis of La Porte, Victorian McGinnis of La Porte, Quinton McGinnis of La Porte, and Keegan McGinnis of La Porte; four great-grandchildren, Juniper Dial, Roxy Bline, and Jack and Gabriella Lowry; and one sister, Dolores Kime of La Porte.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Debra Bline; two brothers, James Baity and Raymond Baity; and one sister, Joanne Samardak.

 

Patricia was a talented artist.  She was heavily involved in church activities and was a devoted Christian mother and grandmother.  She also loved her cat, Kaley.

 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.  Burial will follow at Patton Cemetery.

 

A time of visitation will be held from 4 - 8 p.m. on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home. 

 

Due to the recent Governor's Order, anyone attending the visitation and/or service is required to wear a mask and practice social distancing of six-feet.  Also, we are limited to 50 people in the building at any given time.  We kindly ask for your patience as we oversee these mandated guidelines.
