Donald L. Hartley, 83, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020.

 

Donald was born August 20, 1937 in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late John and Hattie (Goetz) Hartley.

 

Donald worked as a custodian for 14 years at Foamex Corporation.  He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Sacred Heart Catholic Church Choir.

 

Donald is survived by two daughters, Sara Mendenhall of Farmersburg, Indiana and Ida McGee of Terre Haute, Indiana; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents; sisters, Lillie May and Betty Ellen Hartley; brothers, Robert Hartley, Chuck Hartley, and John Hartley; and his first wife, Mammie Hartley.

 

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes, Heart, or Cancer Associations.
