Ernesto “Ernie” F. Martinez, Jr., 67, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2020.

 

Ernie was born August 26, 1953, in Winamac, Indiana to the late Ernesto Sr. and Juanita (Gutierrez) Martinez.

 

Ernesto is survived by a daughter, Crystal (Justin) Krueger of La Porte; a son, Mario Martinez; grandchildren; Delilah, Lennon, Sawyer, and Atlas Krueger; brothers, Art (Kathy) Martinez of Lafayette, Indiana, David Martinez of La Porte, Joe (Shelley) Martinez of Tucson, Arizona, Gerrardo Martinez of Springfield, Missouri and Steve Martinez of La Porte; five sisters, Mary Jane (Mark) Engle of Tucson, Arizona, Teresa Stacy of Springfield, Missouri, Maria (Rick) BonDurant of Chesterfield, Missouri, Amy (Robert) Zurek of Rolling Prairie, Indiana, and Becky (Tom) Howard of La Porte. 

 

Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.
