Lorraine T. Keeler

Lorraine T. Keeler, 95, Tinley Park, IL, formerly of Michigan City, IN, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 5, 2020, at 6:50 pm in her home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, August 8, 2020, at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, 606 S. Woodland Ave., Michigan City, IN with Rev. Kevin Huber officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, Saturday at the church. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.

She was born December 25, 1924, in Chicago, IL to the late Louis and Martha (Tomaszewski) Palmer. On July 6, 1946, in Michigan City, IN she married Norman Keeler. They were married for 69 years before he passed away.

Surviving are a nephew, Robert (Patricia) Lozanski of Las Vegas, NV; four nieces, Rosanne (George) Domato of Oak Forest, IL, Debbie (Ed) Mellinger of Evanston, IL, Connie (the late Mike) Hiss of Palm Beach, CA and Elaine (Ken) Shoup of Boonesville, IN; great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins, friends; and her caregiver, Kateryna Bocharnikova.

She was also preceded in death by, Christine (Palmer) Lozanski.

Lorraine graduated from St. Casimir High School, Chicago, IL on June 11, 1939. She worked as the tax assessor at LaPorte County Courthouse and was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and Notre Dame Football.
