Patricia Ann Martin

Patricia Ann Martin, 80, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at home, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born February 3, 1940, in Rolling Prairie, Indiana, the daughter of Garl and Lois (Benson) Nichols.

A baptized and confirmed Catholic, Patricia was a lifelong resident of La Porte who worked as a machinist at American Rubber until her retirement. Following retirement, she worked part-time at Goodwill industries to keep herself busy. Patricia enjoyed bowling, sponsored by House of Color, and playing softball for Red Rooster Tavern and Galloway Shell. She was an active member of the Polish National Alliance and visited many of their clubs. Patricia had a wonderful blown glass collection, liked gardening, especially her tomatoes, and was proud of all her cars, the most recent being her Ford Fiesta. One of her greatest joys as a grandmother and great-grandmother was spoiling them all, as well as, attending their sporting events and school programs. She also loved "granddog" sitting for the Yorkies!
