Kathy Griffin, 62 of New Carlisle, Indiana passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, July 15, 2020.  Kathy was born on July 26, 1957, in La Porte to Ora Padgett and Marvel Dickson.  She was a homemaker and loved her family more than anything, especially her grandchildren.  She enjoyed camping and being with people.

 

Kathy married Kenneth Griffin on October 3, 1984.  Kenneth survives with a daughter, Brittany (Ron) Griffin of La Porte; grandchildren, Alexander & Theresa Magana and Leighton Rowe; a sister, Sherri (Charlie) Patrick of La Porte; a brother, Mark (Kim) Lowery of Hamlet; nieces, Kara (Chris) Chapman, Rachel (Eddie) Farias, Stephanie (Dan) Lowery; a nephew, Daniel (Alexandra) Ulrich; two special great-nephews, Leland and Nolan Chapman; a great-niece on the way, Emree Ulrich; several cousins; and her special friends, Tabitha Grissam and Robbie Masterson.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held from 4-7 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2020, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.
