Barbara A. Wiedenhoft, 86, of Michigan City, passed away peacefully at 1:03 p.m., Wednesday, June 3, 2020, in her home.

 

She was born August 27, 1933, in Michigan City, Indiana to Fred & Rose (Schultz) Kalil.

 

Barbara has lived in Michigan City her entire life, graduated from Elston High School, was married for just 1 day short of 65 years on June 4, 1955, to James Wiedenhoft, who survives.

 

Also surviving are her two daughters, Susan Wiedenhoft of Michigan City and Michelle (John) Helman of Granger; and one grandson, Eric Helman.

 

Preceding in death were her parents.

 

Cremation will take place. There will be no service. Lakeview Funeral Home & Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd., La Porte, (219) 362-3100 is caring for the arrangements. Entombment will take place at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery, Michigan City.
