Thomas P. Minich, 80, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020.

 

Tom was born December 15, 1939, in La Porte to Leo & Elizabeth (Wagner) Minich.  He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He retired as the head of maintenance with Boston Middle School and St. Joseph Catholic Church and school.  Tom was an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing, hunting, landscaping, and gardening. 

 

Tom is survived by a sister, Sister Helen Minich of St. Francis Convent in Mishawaka, Indiana.  He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Rosemary A. DeWolf, Mary & Virginia Biegel, Helen Wandell, Leonard, Richard, Robert, & Andrew Minich.  

 

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2020, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana, where a Rosary will be recited at 6:15 p.m.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2020, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.  Family and friends may gather at 9 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
