Donald E. Holloway, 88, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Thursday, June 11, 2020.
Donald was born September 9, 1931, in Goshen, Indiana to the late Frank Stanton Holloway and Eleanor (Niesen). On October 13, 1956, Donald married Janet Ann Heins who preceded him in death on December 7, 2014. Donald is survived by his children, Vicki (Jon) Jamison of Lawrence, Kansas, Pam Arvesen of La Porte, Scott (Donna) Holloway of La Porte; grandchildren, Chasidy Cavanna, Samantha Wright, Bailey Padgett, Allison Jamison, Lauren Klosowski, Don S. Holloway, Bryant Arvesen, and Joshua Jamison; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and siblings, Phyllis Link and Robert Holloway.
Donald retired from Weil-McLain as a project engineer. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, St. Michael Council #1542, the La Porte Jaycees and served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2020, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2020 at St. Peter Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Pine Lake Cemetery.
