Leon "Shaggy" Carl Robbins (nicknamed by his parents because of all his hair), 2 weeks old, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at 5:10 a.m., Monday, June 1, 2020 at LaPorte Hospital.

He was born May 15, 2020, in Michigan City, Indiana, to Matthew Lynn and Emily-Ann Marie Robbins, who survives. Along with his big brother, Charles Jerry "CJ".

Leon will be deeply missed by all. He was a very good baby, loved to snuggle and to be rocked.
His family will cherish the memories they have created with him in the short 2 weeks of his life.

Surviving are his parents and brother all of Walkerton (Fish Lake); paternal grandmother, Mary Childress of La Porte; paternal grandparents, Randy and Becky Robbins of Portage; great grandmother, Sherri Childress of La Porte; maternal grandparents, Charles and Pamela Worthen of Fish Lake; great grandparents, Robert Worthen of La Porte and Mildred and Robert Pearl of Valparaiso; special great aunt, Vicki Childress of La Porte; many aunts and uncles; and his special 4 legged family.

Preceding in death were his two maternal great grandmothers, Doris Worthen and Diane "Natalie" Worthen; one paternal great grandfather, George "Pops" Childress; one maternal great grandfather, Fred Cawby; and two paternal great uncles, George "Uncle G" and Bill Childress.

Cremation will take place. A private family gathering will be held. Lakeview Funeral Home & Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd, La Porte (219)362-3100 is caring for the arrangements.
