Anthony J. Kalinowski, 55, La Porte, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at 6:04 pm in Michigan City, Indiana.

A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana is handling arrangements.

He was born on October 4, 1964, in Harvey, IL to John C. and Theresa H. (Fronczak) Kalinowski.

Surviving are the mother of his children, Tammara Mounce of La Porte, IN; two sons, Anthony G. Kalinowski of La Porte, IN, Joseph W. Kalinowski of La Porte, IN; two brothers, John (Cheryl) Kalinowski, Michael Kalinowski; seven sisters, Cindy Rousseau, JoAnn Kalinowski, Nancy Ragan, Patti Eisenbrandt, Carol Metcalf, Theresa (Steve) Kisich, Sandy Kalinowski; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by father, John C. Kalinowski; sister, Kathy Sannito.

Anthony was a boilermaker working for Local 374 in Hobart, Indiana. He was a member of Dunes Fellowship house in Michigan City, Yana Service Club in La Porte, and La Porte New Church Swedenborgian. Anthony enjoyed listening to music, playing Frisbee, and being outdoors going to the beach and walking through the woods. Anthony was a good man with a gentle soul who cared deeply for his family.
