Charles E. Beck, 78, of La Porte, IN, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020, at Golden Living Center in La Porte, IN.

 

He was born May 3, 1942, in Tabor City, North Carolina, the son of Van and Peggy Beck.

Charles was a man who truly loved his family, especially his grandchildren. His favorite things to do were to be out boating on the lake, working in his yard, woodworking, and computers. He also loved his animals. 

 

He is survived by his son, Neil (Tracy) Beck of La Porte; daughter, Angela (Roy) Searing of Trenton, TN; brother, Terry Beck of La Porte; sister, Betty (Jim) Seibenmark of St. Joseph, MI; five Grandchildren, Kayla (Ron) Powell, Taylor Beck, Meezy Beck, Uriah Price, and Claire Speaks; five Great-Grandchildren, Penny, Duncan, Carter, Kierra, and Leigharyn. 

 

Charles was preceded in death by his parents and grandchild, Zachary.

 

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN.  There are no services scheduled at this time.
