Douglas D. Sparks, 47, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2020, at 11:45 am in Michigan City, IN.

A celebration of life gathering will be announced at a later date. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.

He was born on October 13, 1972, in Michigan City, IN.

Surviving are a daughter, Amanda Sparks of Michigan City, IN; step-daughter, Alexis Caudill of Michigan City, IN; two step-sons, C.J. Caudill and Travis Samila, both of LaPorte, IN; sister, Christina (Tim) Sparks of Michigan City, IN; nephew, Tim Chambers of Michigan City, IN; and his niece, Hannah Chambers of Michigan City, IN.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Sparks; and his mother, Nancy Walker.

Doug was a painting and drywall contractor. He enjoyed painting, drawing and was a Jack of all trades with music.
