Brandon Douglas Sparks, 22, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2020, at 11:45 am in Michigan City, IN.

A celebration of life gathering will be announced at a later date. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.

He was born on June 16, 1997, in Michigan City, IN.

Surviving are his mother, Melissa Swedersky of Michigan City, IN; sister, Amanda Sparks of Michigan City, IN; three step-sisters, Sydni Swedersky of Michigan City, IN, Alyssa Swedersky of Hamlet, IN and Alexis Caudill of Michigan City, IN; three step-brothers, Jeremy Swedersky, Jr. of Michigan City, IN, C.J. Caudill of LaPorte, IN and Travis Samila of LaPorte, IN; grandparents, Phillip and Theresa Creager and Steven and Judith Swedersky, all of Michigan City, IN.

He was also preceded in death by his father, Douglas Sparks; and grandparents, David Sparks and Nancy Walker.

Brandon was working as a painting and drywall contractor. He enjoyed working on electronics.
