Walden A. "Butch" Ratliff, Jr., 62, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020, at 1:05 pm in his home.

Funeral services are pending and will be announced. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.

He was born March 21, 1958, in Grundy, VA. In Michigan City, IN he married Gerri Anne O'Dell who survives in Michigan City, IN.

Also surviving are two sons, James (Sarah) Ratliff of Fort Lupton, CO and Matthew Ratliff of Fort Collins, CO; five grandchildren; father, Walden A. (Betty) Ratliff, Sr. of Michigan City, IN; mother, Mary Adkins Sorg of Michigan City, IN; two sisters, Laura Ratliff and Beth Osowski, both of Michigan City, IN; and his brother, Frank (Trish "Bean") Ratliff of Michigan City, IN

Butch loved music and was an accomplished drummer. He enjoyed sailing, riding his Harley and was a U.S. Navy Veteran.
