Norman J. "Moe" Smith, 52, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2020, at 1:23 pm in Franciscan Health - Michigan City.

A public service will be announced at a later date. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.

He was born February 25, 1968, in Michigan City, IN to the late James and Thelma (Davis) Smith.

Surviving are three daughters, Shaman Smith of Michigan City, IN, Abigail (Ian) Boltze of Cadiz, KY and Bailey Smith of Michigan City, IN; two sons, Warren Smith of Bradenton, FL, Robert Madaras of Michigan City, IN; twin sister, Norma (Brian) Kealey of Mason, MO; two brothers, Allan Smith of Bradenton, FL and James Smith of LaPorte, IN; three grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

He was also preceded in death by his son, Alexander Smith; sister, Tammy Sobieski; and brother, Karl Smith.

Moe was a self-employed contractor who enjoyed staying busy.
