Joan H. Borg .91, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Friday, April 17, 2020.

 

She was born on January 22, 1929, in La Porte to Hubert V. and Dorothy (Blakeman) Borg.  Joan was employed with NIPSCO for many years as a bookkeeper and later with Berkel, (formerly The US Slicing Machine Company).  She was an avid bowler on the senior and ladies’ leagues in La Porte and also enjoyed golfing. 

 

Joan is survived by her sister, Barbara D. Borg, and sister-in-law, Rose M. Peer both of Sarasota, Florida and a sister-in-law, JoAnn Borg of La Porte. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Marilouise Arndt; and a brother, Hubert J. Borg all of La Porte.

 

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel in La Porte. Burial at Pine Lake Cemetery.
