Betty Igou, 67, of Scottsburg, IN, December 20, 1952-March 8, 2020, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.

 

She was born December 20, 1952, in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of Elizabeth Albertson.

 Betty was a Christian and loved God. The things she enjoyed in life were her family most of all, being in the outdoors, and gardening, planting, and growing flowers. During the holidays she was known for her cooking and baking skills especially when it came to pies.

 

She is survived by her two sons, Lance Igou, Dexter Igou; two brothers, John, Rick; four sisters, Judy, Debbie, Roberta, Marsha; grandchild, Cadin.

 

Betty was preceded in death by her parents and several children.

 

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN. Services will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
