Donald A. Burton, 93, of Umatilla, FL, formerly of Fish Lake, IN, passed away Monday, March 9, 2020, at Center for Hospice Care in South Bend, IN.

 

He was born March 6, 1927, in Chicago, Illinois.

 

Donald owned and operated Fish Lake Market for 35 years.  Upon retirement, he bought a home in Florida and lived there until the past few months when he returned to the Fish Lake area.

He is survived by his daughter Michella Buckmaster of Walkerton, IN and brother Harold Burton of Chicago, IL

Arrangements have been entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave, La Porte, IN, where a graveside service will be held at Salem Cemetery Thursday, March 12 at 10:00 am Central time with Pastor Tim Stewart officiating.  Interment will follow.
