Carolyn Kay Lelo

Carolyn Kay Lelo, 81 of La Porte, Indiana passed away Saturday, February 22, 2020.  Kay was born April 29, 1938, in West Virginia to Denver and Erma (Campbell) Robson.  She had been employed for 20 years as an Inspector with Solo Cup in Chicago.  Kay was also involved with Uncle John’s Flea Market at Cedar Lake and enjoyed crocheting and baking, especially her lamb cakes.  

 

Kay is survived by a son, Kenneth (Roberta) Lelo of Schneider, Indiana; daughters, Karen (David) Griggs of Hobart, Indiana, Kristine (David) Milligan of La Porte; grandchildren, Vanessa Holcomb, Eddie Anderson, Desiree Walley, Allison Gallagher, Dakota Lelo, Brandon Milligan; great-grandchildren, Kylen, Kaylee, Aiden, Amya, Avah; siblings, Elizabeth (Fred) Hermann of Brook, Indiana, Robert (Karen) Robson of Hammond, Indiana, Ken (Vicki) Robson of Lowell, Indiana and James (Kathy) Robson of Ocala, Florida; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Patsy Hines, Nancy Robson, Dale, Charlie, and Denver Robson.

 

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.
