Jordan Davis won't 'Turn This Truck Around,' even for Ella Langley

Jordan Davis' "Turn This Truck Around" (MCA)

No need for Jordan Davis to "Turn This Truck Around," because it's parked at #1 on the Mediabase country airplay chart.

For the Louisiana native, it marks a major milestone.

"It’s unreal to think this is my 10th #1 single at country radio," Jordan wrote on Instagram. "I can still remember the first #1 like it was yesterday, and now even typing '10' feels so surreal."

"I’m so grateful for the support from country radio over my career and to the fans who have supported me from my very first release," he continues. "This simply could not have happened without you all."

Jordan's first #1 was his debut release, 2017's "Singles You Up."

On Billboard Country Airplay, Ella Langley's blocking Jordan from the #1 spot, where "Turn This Truck Around" is at #2. But all is fair: he's doing the same to Ella's "Be Her" on the Mediabase tally.

Karen Fairchild paints a picture of Little Big Town's 'It's a Dying Art'

Little Big Town (Disney/Michael Le Brecht)

It's been nearly four years since Little Big Town's last non-holiday album came out, but that all changes on Aug. 28 with It's a Dying Art

LBT's Karen Fairchild explained the title of the foursome's 12th studio album during their surprise pop-up show at Nashville's 12/30 Club.

"We’ve been working on new music and the record is called It’s a Dying Art, because love is a dying art, and we want to keep that thing going," she told the intimate crowd. "When you hear the song 'It’s a Dying Art,' it’s all about [how] we connect together and [what we] do together and it’s about you guys. Like, we make this music for you guys — we make it for ourselves — but this is what we live for right here is, like, the connection with you all."

The song, officially titled "Dying Art," is the fourth track on the record, immediately preceding the recently released "Hey There Sunshine" and "Over and Over."

Kelsea Ballerini, Ashley Monroe and Jason Isbell all collab with Little Big Town on the record, as well.

'It's a Dying Art': Little Big Town and Miranda Lambert play together 'Over and Over'

Little Big Town's 'It's a Dying Art' (MCA)

Die-hard Little Big Town fans can go ahead and be jealous: There's a select group of people who've already gotten to hear parts of their new album.

The unexpected preview came Thursday night when Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Phillip Sweet and Jimi Westbrook took the stage at downtown Nashville's 12/30 Club — and the surprises didn't end there.

In addition to fan favorites and the sneak peek at It's a Dying Art, Miranda Lambert popped up to perform LBT's new song, "Over and Over."

But there was more: the foursome later appeared during Miranda's set at the Music City Rodeo, doing "Girl Crush," "Boondocks" and "Drunk (And I Don't Wanna Go Home)."

It's a Dying Art, which the band described as "a reflection on connection, love, and the importance of preserving both," comes out Aug. 28.

I just wanna 'Be Her': Ella Langley dominates at #1 (again)

Ella Langley's "Be Her" (SAWGOD/Columbia Records)

It seems to be Ella Langley's chart these days; there just happen to be other people on it.

The "you look like you love me" sensation has just cemented her fourth #1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart with "Be Her," as her previous #1, "Choosin' Texas," hangs on at #6.

That's extremely rare, since it topped the chart for three weeks way back in February and March.

Her duet with Morgan Wallen, "I Can't Love You Anymore," is also up to #13 in only five weeks.

"Be Her" climbed to the pinnacle in only 15 weeks, which is the shortest time for a female artist in the past 10 years.

Previously, "Choosin' Texas" took 16 weeks, which was tied for the record with Carrie Underwood's "Church Bells" from July 2016.

Luke Bryan's "Country and She Knows It" (MCA)

If you're ready to get the summer started and have some fun, you're on the same wavelength as Luke Bryan, who happens to have just the song for it.

'Country and She Knows It' is just about fun," he says of his latest hit. "It’s about telling stories of girls that are just in their element, being themselves and how us guys get wrapped up in it. And I just think it’s a great song to kick the summer off and see everybody out there dancing, especially the country girls."

Luke's top-25 hit is the lead radio single from his new album, Signs, which comes out Sept. 18. It also features the previously released "Fish Hunt Golf Drink" and "Word on the Street," which is also the name of his tour that kicked off Friday.

Lauren Alaina is 'Better Off' than the girl she used to be

Lauren Alaina (Disney/Michael Le Brecht)

When Lauren Alaina hears her new song, she can't help but think about how far her life has come.

“I wrote 'Better Off' from the perspective of a girl who finally realizes she didn't lose anything by being cheated on ... in a lot of ways, she ended up much better off," she says. "It's full of sass and attitude, but underneath it all, it's really about growth and knowing your worth."

“I'm in such a beautiful season of life now with my husband and daughter," she adds, "and this song feels like finally closing the door on a different stage of my life.”

"Better Off" is the latest track from Lauren's new album, Stages, which drops Aug. 28. It also includes her top-25 hit with Chase Matthew, "All My Exes," and the previously released "Raining Whiskey."

After heading out on the Songs of Summer trek with Darius Rucker, Lauren's set to launch The Stages Tour Oct. 1 in Milwaukee.

The Band Perry is ready to 'Kill It' with new music

The Band Perry's "Kill It" (Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment)

The Band Perry's new song, "Kill It," completes the "romantic-goth trilogy" they started with their previous tracks "PSYCHOLOGICAL" and "Buzzards."

"I thought someone new could fix it/ Told myself some lies to trick it/ Drank too much just to forget it/ Tried to put it six feet deep in a hole," Kimberly Perry sings on the new song. "Thought I had the guts to pull the trigger but I didn’t/ If this is a game, I’d say that you’re winning/ My love’s still alive and kicking/ Guess only one of us knows how to kill it."

Even though she didn't write it, it expresses a sentiment Kimberly knows well.

“‘My love’s still alive and kicking’ is my favorite line in this song and, honestly, my entire personality,” she says. “I never know when to give up on someone ... or something. ‘Kill It’ is my confession that I’d rather lose with my heart still beating than win by burying mine first.”

Next up, Kimberly and husband Johnny Costello play CMA Fest in Nashville, complete with a June 5 set on the main stage at Nissan Stadium.

Corey Kent now knows what to call it: 'Heartland Rock and Roll'

Corey Kent's 'Heartland Rock and Roll' (Sony Music Nashville)

When Corey Kent's new record arrives Sept. 25, he'll have officially defined his sound, in more ways than one.

“Heartland Rock and Roll is my third major label album, and it’s really the first time I’ve been able to finally name the sound I’ve been working towards my entire career,” Corey says. “These songs sound like where I’m from. The lyrics span from nostalgia, to honest regrets and gratitude for the simple things I value most in life."

"From top to bottom, this is me," he continues. "Every artist wants to leave their mark in music ... a way to say, ‘I was here and I did it my way.’ This feels like mine. This is heartland rock and roll.”

The 16-track album features his top-10 hit with Koe Wetzel, "Rocky Mountain Low," as well as the previously released "Empty Words" and "Wannabe," plus "Cigarette Burns," which is out now.

The return of Tim McGraw: A 'Song for America' on a 'Pawn Shop Guitar'

Tim McGraw (Tibrina Hobson/Getty Images)

Tim McGraw is back with two new songs — and he's ready to talk about exactly why he's been away.

The superstar dropped two new tracks on Friday, "Song for America" and "Pawn Shop Guitar."

“This is the first new music I’ve put out in over a year. It’s no secret that over the last few years I got sidelined with back and knee issues,” Tim says. “That time was challenging on so many levels, but one of the positive things that came out of it, aside from physically being back to 100%, was that it gave me time to reflect on my life and to write songs."

"I was able to really dig into some personal stories in those songs for the first time," he adds.

"Song for America" was recorded to celebrate the United States' upcoming 250th birthday, while the autobiographical "Pawn Shop Guitar" doubles as the name of his tour.

It kicks off July 9 in Bethel, New York.

Riley Green's 'Think as You Drunk' is only one facet of 'That's Just Me'

Riley Green's 'That's Just Me' (Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment)

As Riley Green drops the latest track from his upcoming fourth studio album, he's giving fans more details about the record he first announced Thursday in Billboard.

"This record came together during a pretty big season of life for me," he explains of That's Just Me. "I was out on the road on the biggest tour I’ve ever had, writing and recording while a lot was changing at the same time."

"There are songs on here that are more emotional, some that are made for having a good time with your buddies, and others that come from real moments I was living through," he continues. "I never wanted it to feel like one thing, I wanted it to feel like me, and all the different sides that come with that."

The cover of That's Just Me shows Riley looking right at home behind the wheel of a pick-up truck.

Riley's new radio single, "Think as You Drunk," draws inspiration from Toby Keith's "As Good As I Once Was." You'll even hear the late singer's voice as the new song draws to a close.

That's Just Me comes out Sept. 18.

Riley's Cowboy As It Gets Tour makes a stop at Gulf Coast Jam in Panama City Beach, Florida, on Friday night.

Life is so good for Tucker Wetmore, he can't believe it

Tucker Wetmore (Ethan Miller/Getty Images)

(NEW YORK) -- Tucker Wetmore's career momentum continues to intensify, as his third single becomes his third #1 on the Mediabase chart: "Brunette" is sitting atop the radio ranking, following "3,2,1" and "Wind Up Missin' You."

"Brunette" also becomes his first #1 on the comparable Billboard Country Airplay tally.

His mom surprised him with the news he'd won the Academy of Country Music's new male artist of the year trophy while he was in London on April 30, a revelation significant enough to trigger his disbelief.

"Overwhelmed, excited — I don't think this is real," he summed it up, following the May 17 ACMs in Las Vegas. "If I wake up tomorrow and it's all fake, I wouldn't be surprised."

"I'm just blessed, honestly," he added. "It's all God. It's all it is, is God and his blessing towards me. So, I'm just happy to be a vessel to enjoy it, you know?"

What's next? For now, Tucker's on HARDY's COUNTRY! COUNTRY! Tour, before he plays the main stage during CMA Fest at Nashville's Nissan Stadium on June 4.

He'll kick off the second leg of The Brunette World Tour later this summer.
