Position:  Part-Time On-Air Influencer / Radio Personality

Location:  Peoria, IL

92.9 & 107.5 The Vibe is seeking a dynamic On-Air Influencer—someone who knows how to built a loyal following with relevent content and has proven they know how to engage an audience.  You’d use your content creation skills and your voice to entertain and inform the listeners of The Vibe, bringing your unique style to the radio airwaves in Peoria while helping us grow our brand across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Host regular on-air segments, shows, or features that reflect The Vibe’s brand and connect with our target audience.

• Create engaging social media content (videos, stories, posts, live streams) to promote station events, contests, and programming.

• Cross-promote on-air content and station initiatives to social media.

• Collaborate with the programming and marketing teams to develop creative campaigns that drive listenership and online engagement.

• Represent The Vibe at local events, concerts, and community functions as a brand ambassador.

• Conduct interviews with artists, local personalities, and community leaders both on air and online.

• Monitor social media trends and audience feedback to keep content fresh and relevant.

• Support sales and sponsorship efforts by integrating advertiser messaging into your station generated content when appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record as a social media influencer with a strong, engaged following—ideally in the Peoria area.

• Experience as an on-air personality a plus, but not required (radio, podcast, or live streaming preferred).

• Excellent communication, storytelling, and interpersonal skills.

• Creative thinker who’s comfortable in front of a microphone and a camera.

• Knowledge of current music, pop culture, and local events.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends for events.

• Familiarity with audio editing, video production, and digital marketing tools.
